In 2025, we will celebrate 25 years of Westacc. A milestone. A moment to reflect on. To look back with pride at what we have achieved together. And then to quickly look ahead again, at the opportunities that still lie ahead.
A (camper)trip down memory lane
2000
Establishment of Westacc
With years of experience in caravan production and the purchase of caravan parts, Jan Batist decided to set up the company Westacc in 2000, to start supplying caravan and motorhome manufacturers with parts himself.
2003
First production order - Solifer
From just purchasing parts, Westacc made a leap to working with a customer to develop and produce a wiring harness specifically for the Solifer brand.
This first collaboration tastes like more; with 75% of customers now looking at a customised solution.

2004
Westacc at the fair
Since 2004, Westacc has been present for the first time with its own stand at the Caravansalon, the trade fair for camping enthusiasts in Düsseldorf.
Customers have known how to find Westacc at this fixed location in the halls of the Messe for 20 years now.

2005
All 1st developments
Collaborations are expanding. Westacc is asked to develop a specific transformer for Chateau.
Then other customers come with requests, such as the CEE input box for Bürstner and the fuse box for Dethleffs.
Westacc's product range broadens considerably.

2006
Expansion of the product range
The initial contact in France with Pilote/Voyageur once again led to an expansion of the product range. From that moment on, Westacc began supplying custom-made built-in spotlights and LED bars. Each brand requires a different look, resulting in a wide variety in the offering.
Today, lighting has become a major pillar for Westacc.
2007
First representative on the road
The customer base continues to develop and to maintain good customer contact, a representative may go out on the road for the first time.
2008
Production space greatly expanded
From 2008, more and more products are assembled in-house. Additional space is needed for this and a raised production floor is being constructed in the premises.
2010
Start of a great project
In 2010, a 1st sample of a fuse box was delivered to Hymer.
That same box, with an update here and there, is still being installed in Hymer vehicles today. For Hymer alone, this totals more than 165 thousand fuse boxes delivered in all these years until 2025.

2011
Achieve first million in sales
With an ever-growing customer base and an expanding product range, Westacc reaches the beautiful milestone of its first million turnover in 2011.
2012
Deployment of 3D printing technology
Customer-focused design is becoming increasingly common. With 3D draftsmen on staff and 3D printers in-house that can instantly convert the drawing into a model, the development of new products can be accelerated.
Extraordinary to see something from paper come to life as a model you can spin around in your hands.

2015
Son Tim Batist continues Westacc
By now, Westacc can call itself a well-established company. Founder Jan Batist steps back and gives his son Tim Batist the space to take Westacc to the next level.
2021
Huge growth
At the time of the pandemic, the current warehouse is filling up. Even the unloading areas and intermediate spaces are used to put down products.
An external warehouse in Rotterdam offers a solution.
What starts out as a temporary solution turns out to be necessary for the future to continue storing all the goods.

2024

With the acceleration in own development capabilities, such as the 3D printer, the growing number of customers and the further expansion of the product range in recent years, Westacc realises a fantastic turnover of 7 million in 2024.
2025
